Good Morning. And guess what, it really is morning. 2:3o am, to be precise.
So anyway, as I was deliberating on what to do, I ran into Lori. Like any good Mom, she distracted me with something different. She and Tonya R. and I went to the USU Ballroom Dance show tonight at Ellen Eccles. I will concede that the BYU ballroom shows I've been to are a little better, but this one was pretty good. It just made me want to dance. But I don't have anybody to dance with. Sigh. It was also a lot shorter of a show than we expected it to be, only about 45 minutes.
So when we were done and we weren't quite ready to head home we went to A&W. Did you know that stands for Allen & Wright? Well, now you do. We didn't know either, but we wanted to, so Tonya asked the cashier. We had some very good food, and then we just sat around for forever. We did some crank calling on each other's phones, that was pretty interesting. Tonya's pretty good at crank calling, I must admit, though Lori was doing alright with her fake accent thing. Eventually we decided we'd better be heading home, but first we stopped at the prize machines. They both got rings, but I got a necklace with a silver dollar sign on it-my bling.
Then, we went to Smith's to get me some hair dye, since I need to get rid of the line that's grown out since the last time I dyed my hair and Tonya's pretty much an expert on these things. We picked me out a pretty color, and decided that while we were there we might as well pick up a few other things. Strawberries were on sale.
When we finally came back to Merrill we went to 202, Rob Hall's apartment. He's invited Tonya over to watch a movie on his sweet hd bigscreen. I'd met Rob before, of course, he's in our ward. But I hadn't ever really talked to him before. (Ok, and I still haven't really talked to him. How much talking do you do while you're watching a movie?) He's a nice guy though, and we watched Sahara with him, his roommate Ben T., and Danny, the guy that I'd been considering hitting up for a ride to Provo this weekend. Looks like he's not going. It was a pretty good movie. I'd seen it once before actually, but at that time I hadn't really been paying attention to it. I like the chick's accent. Ben said sometime we should read the books Dirk Pitt wrote about his adventures. That's what the movie's based off of.
All in all, it was a pretty fun night. I love hanging out with guys. They're so easy to get along with.
Well, I'd better be getting to bed. General Conference in the am you know, the first one with a new prophet, and the calling of a new apostle. I'm excited. Oh, and we're going to dye my hair tomorrow. Good night.
P.S. I love strawberries.
