You know, I've always been a procrastinator. Even in elementary school I did all of my reports and projects the night before. Ever tried designing a board game all in one night? It's not easy. In high school a friend of mine introduced me to the concept of calculated procrastination. He was a real professional. I'm afraid that through time, I've gotten worse. The bad part is though, that I'm good at procrastinating. Take today. I had to give a final speech for my leadership class. The assignment was given about three weeks ago. I did do a lot of thinking about it, but I just couldn't ever commit to a topic, until, well, I started writing my speech this afternoon around one o'clock. I gave it this afternoon at five o'clock. And sadly, I completely aced it. My professor even said that my preparation was excellent, and asked how long I'd been working on it.
But, the good thing is, two finals down, only one to go. I have one more test tomorrow morning, then I finish packing, work for a couple of hours, and I am out of here. You know, it's funny. I've been waiting for this semester to just end for a while, and now it really is I think I'm going to miss it.
Well, every new beginning is some beginning's end.
