So, 2010 got off to a great start. I've spent more time on anethesia and pills in the last two months than I have since.....ever. So I decided I may as well document the experience.
First, at the end of January I got my wisdom teeth out. Fortunately, there are no pictures of this time period in existance, and I can both smile and laugh again now.
Two weeks later I had surgery on my wrist. Why, because I had a Ganglion cyst. A very big one.
So, they cut me up to take it out, and I woke up with this lovely huge purple cast. I had to wear this thing for a week, and let me tell you, it itched. Not to mention I couldn't get it wet.
Fortunately I only had to wear it for a week, and then the doctor took out my stitches and gave me this much smaller, and removeable brace. I have to wear it for 3 weeks, which, thankfully, is half over.
And this is what my wrist looked like when the stitches came out.
Anyway, that's what I've been up to lately.

after seeing the picture of the cyst, i would have to say that yours was much bigger than mine!!! That was like another limb!
I've done the wisdom teeth thing twice, but not the cysted wrist thang... OUCH. Hope the healing is going well!!!
