Mandy Marie Ferrin

was born Sunday, November 1 at 2:29 am. Weighing in at 7lbs 7oz she's a healthy baby. Congratulations to the happy parents, Whitney and Jerome Ferrin.

There's no place like home.

So this last weekend for conference l got to go home. I left Provo canyon, drove all of the way home, and then what did we do between sessions? Drove over to Logan canyon to see the leaves. It was a lot of fun though, and it was great just to be home. Saturday night my sibs and l went to a haunted corn maze, and that was an adventure. I'm so excited that it's now October. Bring on Halloween, I'm ready for it. : )

Practice- should we ever become Mary Anne and Wanda...

After we found jars, pectin, and a recipe at Macey's the other day Whitney and I decided to try our hands at making Strawberry freezer jam. It turned out pretty well, if I do say so myself. : ) And- it only took us half an hour and one mixing bowl to fill up six jars- not a bad afternoon.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Ok, not really, but it is starting to turn into Autumn. Patch by patch the mountains around me are starting to change colors. And today we had a couple thunderstorms move through. It's so beautiful up here when it rains- like the world is at peace. I just hope Fall is good and long, because I'm not ready to start shoveling snow yet. : )

In between rainstorms we decided to try out our mini golf course. These are some of my co-workers/roommates, Gustin, Kevin, and Karalyn.

Picture time!

Today Whitney came up to visit me at Aspen Grove, and we decided to make each other pretty and take pictures. : ) And, of course, there's no point in taking pretty pictures if you don't share them, so here's a sampling of our adventure for the day.

Welcome to Aspen Grove!

What is Aspen Grove, you might ask? Well, it's a BYU run family camp and conference center up Provo Canyon, where I now live and work. Last night we got everything moved in to my new dorm at Aspen Grove, and tomorrow morning I officially start working. Today, I did a little exploring. : )

I had a great 21 birthday this last week. On my actual birthday l went home to Tremonton. Ryan was ordained an Elder, and we had cake to celebrate. Then, on Tuesday my friends down here threw me a surprise party, and I'd say a good time was had by all. : )
