Picture time!

Today Whitney came up to visit me at Aspen Grove, and we decided to make each other pretty and take pictures. : ) And, of course, there's no point in taking pretty pictures if you don't share them, so here's a sampling of our adventure for the day.

Welcome to Aspen Grove!

What is Aspen Grove, you might ask? Well, it's a BYU run family camp and conference center up Provo Canyon, where I now live and work. Last night we got everything moved in to my new dorm at Aspen Grove, and tomorrow morning I officially start working. Today, I did a little exploring. : )

I had a great 21 birthday this last week. On my actual birthday l went home to Tremonton. Ryan was ordained an Elder, and we had cake to celebrate. Then, on Tuesday my friends down here threw me a surprise party, and I'd say a good time was had by all. : )

Reflections on BYU

In a week I'll be done with my semester at BYU.

I haven't quite figured out the exact reasons why I'm here, but I know that this summer has been good for me. Homework may not be my favorite thing to do, but I really needed this.
